Zamboni Revolution

The profiles... they keep coming. Up next is Syracuse Univeristy's Zamboni Revolution.

What makes your team unique?
Zamboni Revolution is unique because we're a college improv team. This means that we always have people graduating and new people coming on. Our group changes every semester which is both challenging and exciting.

Do you know what games / forms you plan on doing for the festival?
We will be doing long form improv.

How long has your team been working together?
Our team has been at Syracuse University since 2001. Our current members have been working together for between 3 years and 6 months because we're always adding new members when old ones graduate.

What life lessons do you think there are to be learned from improv?
Improv teaches us to let go of all control and pre-conceived notions in order to open up to every possibility. When you improvise, you have to set aside judgements and agree absolutely. You  have to trust in your scene partners. Improv is all about trust and acceptance. Be open to other people's ideas, trust, accept, and have a lot of fun.

Zamboni Revolution comes all the way down from the SU hill to perform on Saturday, April 6 at the Thumbs UPstate Improv Festival. Like them on Facebook.
